Meuers, Bernice F. (Dahlheimer) age 93, of New Hope. Wife, Mother, Educator and Mentor. Born in Rogers, MN on Feb. 19, 1913, our "Darlin'" passed away in Monterey, CA on Sept. 17, 2006. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Emma Dahlheimer; three brothers, one sister and her husband of 60 years, Lawrence G. Meuers. Survived by son, Lawrence R. (Larry) Meuers (Virginia) of Vadnais Heights; daughter, Marjorie Tourje' of Carmel, CA; six adoring grandchildren, Christine Meuers (Steven Rau) of St. Paul, Theresa Meuers of Minneapolis, Lawrence H. Meuers (Kate)of Naples, FL, Daniel Meuers (Carolyn) of Woodbury, Jennifer Tourje' Chant (Dave ) of Dallas, TX, and Camille Tourjé (Elijah Michalowski) of Portland, OR; six precious great-grandchildren; and sister, Marion Williams (Vince). Bernice was a graduate of St. Margaret's Academy, St. Cloud State Teacher's College and the University of Minnesota. She was a teacher for over 45 years, retiring from Robbinsdale schools in 1978, and was an active member of Alpha Delta Kappa. A life-long learner and a generous and loving woman of faith, Bernice touched many, many lives. Her family and many friends will miss her wisdom and good counsel greatly. We know she will be cheering on her beloved Twins from Heaven. Funeral Saturday, Sept. 23, 11 AM at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, 3811 Emerson Ave. N., Minneapolis, with visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery.
