2003: Article “Books for Africa” Kelly Stenhoff Helps Send 5000 Books to Africa
Return to Photo Page Return to the Home Page Between 2001 and 2004, Kelly Stenhoff, daughter of Dorothy (Dahlheimer) and Odell Schultz, served in the Peace Corps in Tanzania. During that time, the descendants of Werner and Emily Dahlheimer donated over 5000 books to the non-profit organization “Books for Africa”. In cooperation with the Peace Corps and “Books for Africa”, Kelly participated in the shipment and delivery of these books to the library in the village in Tanzania where she worked. The following articles appeared in the Spring 2003 newsletter for Books for Africa.
