She was buried on 3 Jun 1925 in San Francisco, San Francisco County, California.1 After the death of her husband, August Friedrich Heinrich, in 1897, she married a second time in Tacoma, WA, to James Roxburgh (born 17 September 1845 in Scotland; died 26 August 1929 at Eureka, CA). Among other occupations, James was the Fern Hill postmaster in Tacoma. They continued to live in the Fern Hill District of Tacoma until about 1920, when they moved to Eureka, CA, presumably to be closer to one of his children from his first marriage, Louise (Mrs. William D. Ogg), who lived at Eureka.
Albertina died in Eureka on 31 May 1925. Her obituary appeared in the Humboldt Times (Eureka, CA) on 2 June 1925, which also indicated that she and James had moved there five years earlier. According to her obituary and the info in her death certificate, her body was shipped to San Francisco for burial. (Her son E.O. was living and working in Berkeley at that time.)
Several years later, the City of SF closed all its cemeteries and all bodies were disinterred for transfer to other burial locations. Unfortunately, I've been unable to determine her final resting place. E.O. was "inurned" at the Chapel of the Chimes Columbarium in Oakland, CA but Albertina is not there, nor has her burial been found in any other area cemeteries.
