The accident occurred in the city limits between Marketan Minnesota Streets in East Shakopee while the youth was returning tocamp. He was last seen a live in Shakopee at 1:30 a.m. His parents,Mr.and Mrs. Herman L. Gueller live at Shawano, Shawano County, Wisconsin.The youth was the sixth transient camp resident killed by trains hereinthe past 18 months .

SHAKOOPEE NEWS Clarence "Slim" Gueller, well know truck driver of CampFour, was found dead on the railroad track at the town of Shakopee mondaymorning. It was evident from the condition of the body that he had beenstruck by a train sometime during the night.

IN MEMORIAL Clarence Gueller, a member of Camp Four, was killed by atrain, September 22. Mr. Gueller was 24 years old at the time of hisdeath and had been a resident of Camp Shakopee for about nine months. Hisfather came from Shawano, Shawano County, Wisconsin to take charge ofhisbody and it was returned to that city for burial. Herman Louis Gueller apprenticed to learn the timming trade. He waslaid off during the winter and didn't obtain his entire wage of $25 ayear. From the age of 16 to 17 he obtained a wage of $50 a year andfromthe age of 17 to 18, he received $100 a year.
A friend from Wausau, Marathon County, Wisconsin asked Herman to goto Wausau to learn the timing trade. Hermans' friend is John Fehl.Herman obtained a job on the April 15, 1901 (age 17) and worked with apromise of a year round work. Herman worked until he had fallen and whenhe had gotten a cut inpay he quit.
Paget Hill from Minneapolis, bought cedar palets and he hired Hermanat Birnamwood.
Herman Gueller and Frank Wolf soldered the first continous icecreamfreezer invented by Valarious. (This was also the first icecreamfreezer put on the market.)
